That’s too cute. I hope you weren’t too mad about it. When Darly was that age we had all wood floors so no worries. But now we have water color issues on my carpet… DH has got to install a sink downstairs for her!!!
Does cornstarch vacuum up pretty well? A few years back we had a little baby powder episode in one of the bedrooms. For days I was vacuuming baby powder all over my house because not only would it not come up out of the cheap carpet in there, but it stuck in the vacuum. To this day I still vacuum up baby powder and dirt and uck sticks to it. Which is why we are in the process of replacing the carpet.
Aren’t kids fun? Without them how would we ever find anything to blog about?
I thought I commented on this one already- sorry! Oh man- must be honest… I am glad that mess is not at my house! Hope that toy vaccuum can do its job!
He was clearly attempting to make cornbread for dinner! What a great helper! Unfortunately, he made it on the floor, but I’m sure it will be alright so long as you pick out the hair and fibers stuck in it!
When my daughter was little she made a stain on the carpet just like she saw in a commercial. She used sweet sour sauce, ketchup, jelly, mayo….
I had to throw the rug out.
LOL
Thanks for sharing.
Happy WW,
Frances
You know, I think this situation is one of those where you are initially ticked, then stifle your laughter.
There will come a time when you will long for the days when you vacuumed these little messes. It’s because they grow up so quickly AND as they get older, the messes just get tougher.
He’s checking to see if the vacuum is for real! I can laugh… it’s not in my home and I do not have to clear that mess! But keep that shot… you can use it when he grows up!
Uh oh! How cute is this. He looks like he is really trying to decide if that vacuum will clean that up or not. Thanks so much for sharing. And thanks for your extremely wonderful comment on Wendy’s yesterday! I greatly appreciate that! Have a great WW
Oh my Goodness!! It would have been years afterwards before I would have been able to look at that photo and laugh!! Only someone who’s not going to be cleaning it up can see how cute it really is. You could probably win some big money with this one in some contest somewhere, ya know??

I don’t think I want any of that cornbread…. carpet fibers always make things taste just a little…. off.

Reminds me of the time my twin brothers smushed eggs and mustard into the carpet! They were two (I was eight)…
He’s checking to see if the vacuum is for real! I can laugh… it’s not in my home and I do not have to clear that mess! But keep that shot… you can use it when he grows up!
