Why bath paints are banned in our house…
August 8th, 2006Samantha at Mommy Needs a Mai-tai was talking about bath paints - hers are appropriately marked for ages 3 and up, but it reminded me of why we no longer have bath paints in this house….

Also just goes to show you that a mess can be made no matter where you are, as long as you are Lil’ Duck, the toddler ;). Happy (not-so-wordless) Wednesday to all!

Aww, that lil’ duck can make a mess of just about anything huh? Poor little guy, I think he might just be one of the characters in Kukka’s comic strip!
*cough choke splutter* OMG It’s a good thing that I havent given them to my girls yet huh? LOL I’m thinking I’ll give them to some other unsuspecting mother…hmmm, maybe my sister, she has an 18 mth. old hehehehe
Hehehe. I’m thinking, “Isn’t that what bath paints are supposed to look like?”
That is so funny! It looks like it was fun making that mess.
Yes, it’s not-a-so-wordless wednesday…
But, I can really enjoy the pic!
Wondering how it feels to get a bath paint!
Hahaha…I guess I’m totally bored to the point that I’ll do anything to cheer up my day…

OH MY STARS! What a picture! I would ban them as well. I had been tempted to try the bath crayons but then thought; why would I want to do that to myself?
Thanks for stopping by my WW. Have a great day!
Looks to me like he just wanted red hair
Aren’t kids so precious!!! Haha, I think our kids have the same gene!!
Yikes!! We’ve been scared to try those, I guess with good reason. Thanks for sharing! Ours is up too!
At least the mess is in the bathtub and not on your living room rug!! LOL Great shot. Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Too cute . . . but a great reminder as to why I haven’t purchased any yet! LOL! At least it washes off and you don’t have to make the trip to the bathtub!
What better place to make a mess? Too Cute!
My ww is up too.
Yikes, that’s quite a little mess. Thanks for reminding me never to buy those.
Too cute, my DD2 always loved bath paints!
Too funny!
We’ve never tried the bath paints…never got around to it…kinda glad!
Yes, I can see why they’re banned now. Poor Lil duck’s mommy.
Oh wow!!! very colorful to say the least :-).
Happy WW
We’ve never used the paints or crayons or anything that says it’s “for the bath” like that because this would for sure happen to me!
What a mess! Thanks for the warning!
Funny! Boys are so messy, I have 3 of them. LOL!
OMG OMG OMG, that happend to us once too, with Aubrey… MAN I said I would NEVER EVER do that again, not only did it take my 4 - 5 baths to get her clean, but it took me like 3 weeks to get all the stuff out of our grout! EAK!
LMAO this looks like my tub LOLOL
haha!:)
looks like he could use a bath…
i hate those paints too…i hide them when my MIL gives them to my son!
i cannot believe that most of you moms agree that these paints should be banned.. a little supervision and it’s great fun.. what’s a little extra rinsing off of your child for an extra half hour of fun times with them? you moms dissapoint me
just remember they don’t stay little long and everytime you get tired of them making messes you should be thankful that you have a child..
