WFMW - help with Lil’ Duck’s gift list!!
August 9th, 2006Ah, I was trying to think what to write about for this week, and came up with several ideas, but nothing really grabbed me. I’ve been starting to plan Lil’ Duck’s birthday party and got some wonderful ideas for gifts from my last post - so here is his updated wish list if you’d like to add any more comments. I have to say what worked for me has been getting advice from all of you on gifts and teething and potty training and so many other things, so thanks so much to everyone!
Have a great Wednesday - check out the rest of our blog, bookmark us so you can come back and see us later (we do post all week, hee hee) and then go visit the rest of the Works For Me Wednesday tips for some great ideas!

I love Trish Kuffner’s books, but they’re more parenting manuals than books that you would get for a child. I would get him the water table and a couple of storybooks - I try to get things that aren’t novelty items, but that will have a lot of play value.
he seriously wants an abacus? Ok, now I’m concerned.
ROTFL!! Yep, he sat down here at the computer and typed in “abacus” and was delighted to see it….. this is his SECOND birthday, how much longer can I still ask for what *I* want for him…… LOL!!!
That’s one smart little boy you have!
I think books by Dr. Seuss’ have worked for many generations. My hubby used to read them to our son when he was little and our son giggle every time, no matter how many time he heard it.
An abacus? Oh my! That’s too funny! Well, best wises for a joyous celebration!
My WW is up.
All of the birthday and wish lists, etc. can keep you busy eh? LOL
The list looks fab and I hope he gets them all.
Take care
That’s quite the long list of things on his wish list. He does know what a wish is, yes? If he doesn’t, I would hate to see his reaction on his birthday when he sees maybe ten or so items and says, “But I wished for all of them! I wished for them real hard!” That would be heartbreaking!
if that “pound a ball” is the thing that air pushes the balls around I would put that at the top of your list. My boys, all three of them, LOVED that thing.

Best of luck , Take care, Merle.
Bath tub sponge letters!!! I swear by em. They are inexpensive.. and my son who is soon to be 3 saturday has learned his letters.. we point them out in the bath .. Out of all the birthday toys.. He loves his magnadoodle and his bath letters the most!
