Visit our home… it’s the Bloggy Tour of Homes (and Everyday Things too)!
The time has come – come visit our home! BooMama is kind enough to be hosting the first-ever Tour of Homes, so be sure to visit her to get all the other links so you can spy on take a peek into everyone’s homes! Also go on over to Everyday Mommy to celebrate everyday things…..
Ok! We’ll begin with our computer…..

If you have a toddler, you know why everything, including the CPU and the speakers, is up on the desk…. altho it doesn’t stop him from climbing up and getting them anyway….
On to the living room.

I have to confess that this photo was taken a few months ago, right after we painted the walls. We have more photos up on the walls now, but otherwise it’s about the same, just a lot messier. I just didn’t have time to clean the whole house for photos today, so you get an old photo and the knowledge that no, it is not EVER that clean
. The dining room is open to this room as well, bookcases, orange walls, Lil’ Duck’s play area….. you get the idea.
Kitchen!

This was actually clean, as the husband was in the mood to deep clean today. You can’t see it, but he polished the toaster and the teapot and everything! I tried to take a photo from the other side so you could see it, but it was too dark and Lil’ Duck is asleep in the middle of the living room, so I didn’t want to turn on a light….. ah well. If you look closely you can see everything living on top of my fridge, as it is the one place where Lil’ Duck has not ventured yet…. so all the knives, pens, scissors, plastic wrap, etc. get to live up there, just lovely, eh?
Finally, Lil’ Duck’s bathroom:

In case you can’t tell, there are flying ducks on the shower curtain…. I just had to pick that room for the tour because it was clean it fits the theme of this site….. plus it’s my everyday thing, you see, it’s so fun and cheerful that you can’t help but smile while you are in there
.
That concludes our tour, my house IS bigger than that, but it’s also messy, and I’m tired, so we’ll leave it at that. That’s all you get if you come visit too, ha ha ha. Have a wonderful weekend, and post your link in comments if you are doing the tour OR the everyday things meme – I’ll try to get around to visit everyone but if not, the link is a nice reminder
.

How fun! No kidding: you DO have every color but purple! I happen to love a lot of color.
I love that duck curtain! Thanks for sharing your home
Hey you’re right, the woodwork and the walls of our kitchens are very similar! Only your walls look like they have a great sponging or faux suede look on ‘em rather than the plain old paint I have!
LOVE the colors! Your house looks great, I’m sorry you were too tired for the rest, would have loved to see it! I’ll link you on my site.
I LOVE that you have such bright, bold colors! I am partial to green so I absolutely adore those 1st two shots; kitchen is great too & I’m impressed your husband cleaned it for you. Thanks for sharing your home, and for visiting mine too.
What beautiful use of color in your home. Thanks for visiting from outside of Xangaland.

I love all of your bright colors, especially the green in the family room. I also love the way you trimmed the bathroom door with the yellow. Very cute!
Your home looks very cozy! Thanks for visiting me.
My first thought on looking at your home is Holy crap!!! The colors. I love color but it seems as if people are afraid to use it. Simply stunning. It is beautiful.

Your have such a bright colourful home. Thanks for the chance to meet you.
I LOVE the duck bathroom! You’re right…you just have to be happy when you look at that room. Your home looks great. Thanks for letting us look around!
I love your vivid colours! We can never get deep colours to work – not being very artistic – so we stick with more basic/pastel shades, but I love seeing homes where deeper colours work so well.
I LOVE that you’re not afraid of color! I’m not either – I just HATE to paint. We’ll get there. Lil duck’s bathroom is GREAT – you’re right you can’t help but smile.
Those green walls are fabulous!
Thanks for sharing.
I LOVE the colors in your living room! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing some of your home with everyone!
~TaunaLen
I love that kitchen!
I can’t remember if I commented or not… so I am doing it again *wink*
Thanks for letting me “visit” your home! Love the duck bathroom!
Hi Lil, thank you so much for your visiting and nice comment about my home.
I love also your house, it’s so beautiful!
Love the colour and the creative decoration as well.
I am glad I “meet” you. The blogsphere is really amazing!
Have a good weekend!
I love all the color! And the flying ducks are perfect.
Love all the color.
Wow! SO fun!
You must be an outgoing fun sort! ‘Cause that’s how your home describes you. Love those colours!!! Fun fun fun…and that kitchen. WOW.
Thanks for the tour.
I wish I’d heard about this tour in time to participate! Maybe next time. Anyway, it was great seeing all your pictures. I LOVE the colors. Our walls are still off-white, just like they were when we moved in 1.5 years ago. We’d like to paint them, but we don’t have the confidence or the time to choose the colors and actually do it.
Sorry I’m a little late, but I really enjoyed the tour. I love your bright colorful rooms! It’s funny, realtors always tell you to paint your walls white when selling, but most of the homes I’ve seen on the tour today have brightly or boldly colored walls. I love it!
Thanks for the hospitality!
I love the bright colors of your home. I’m not quite that daring, but it looks great!
