Time to clean the mess!

August 19th, 2006

Lil’ Duck has done it again. This time it is all manner of food, out of the locked cabinets - including cornbread mix that Daddy didn’t hang from the ceiling after the last cornbread mix mess….. I’ll be around to visit all the photo hunt people AFTER I clean this mess. Anyone who wants to come help clean is more than welcome! Click the “more” link to see the photos (so my main page doesn’t load too slowly)!

A wide shot of the dining room disaster (not shown in these photos is the countertop mess, his destroyed room, the trashed living room and patio, etc - I don’t want you to think I never clean, as I spent two hours yesterday cleaning, but can you tell? ;)):

That’s a real beauty of a mess. My son just dumped the sand out of his shoe from school. I think he carried the whole playground with him!

    Good Luck,cleaning that up!

Wow, he sure is a mischievous little guy, isn’t he? Curiousity always gets the best of us. Sure makes for cute pics and stories, though. ;-)

“dumping out vanilla wafers and laughing…” My son used to laugh maniacially whenever he got into anything. The louder and longer the laugh, the greater the trouble it signalled. LOL! Little Duck seems to have a talent for mischief; you really have your hands full.

I was going to say, I haven’t seen a carpet that nutritious in a LONG time, wheat, flour, grains! A virtual bakers paradise!

  24. Comment by Barb on August 20, 2006 10:25 am

Oh my word. Why didn’t I think of hanging everything from the ceiling when mine were little? I could tell you some stories about packs of dry Kool-Aid and a two liter bottle of Coke that would make your head swim. Too funny.

Thanks for stopping by my Everyday Things post last Thursday. Sorry. Just now catching up.
