My son loved #1. I do not even know how many times I have read it to him.

Oooh, love a lot of them! I have the copy of Are you My Mother that was mine when I was a kid, even! (that and The Best Nest, another favorite around here)

When Bry-onicle was a toddler, he loved Are You My Mother. I had to read it to him at least twelve times per day!
My favorite children’s book is Mike Mulligan and his amazing steam shovel…I’m not even sure it’s published anymore. But it was the first book I remember reading.

What a great idea for a TT. I have grown-up books on my posting this week. My mother passed away from dementia and congestive heart failure at the end of November – so the Robert Munsch book “I’ll love you forever” now, more than ever, has special meaning for me.

i can’t remember the name of it, but I like the one that has the bunnies and the baby bunny tries to tell his mom how much he loves her, but she always loves him more.

My almost 2-year old LOVES Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems? (I think?). Our copy is not a board book and it is about to fall to pieces. I will have to check out the ones on your list that we don’t have.
Sometimes reading these you realize are more for your benefit than for the toddler’s.

Fun list. And “The Little Engine That Could” spans age interest beyond toddlers. My Wonder Woman read it to an bunch of elementary children the other day and got great reviews from the kids.
We bought the “Big Box of Boynton” set. Sydney absolutely loves “Barnyard Dance.” Thanks for all of the suggestions. It is really helpful since she is our first and my sisters have been out of the toddler books for years now!
