Thirteen things thrown at Mama this week…

The little one has been in a disobedient, throwing, sassy mood this week as he recovers from his cold. Now, he is duly punished for all this, I don’t just put up with it, but you might find this amusing….

  1. Cheerios
  2. Weebles (NOT as cute as you might think, those things HURT)
  3. My cell phone
  4. Ducky. Usually used by whipping him around for the sneak attack.
  5. Diapers. Thankfully unused. He prefers never to be changed, although he doesn’t like sitting in a wet/unclean diaper.
  6. A shoe! Thankfully, Crocs are lightweight….
  7. Pillows. Many, many pillows. This is usually a game though, to be fair.
  8. Paperback books. He has a great fascination with Daddy’s books, but isn’t always as gentle as he should be – hence the reprimand, then the throwing.
  9. Sippy cups! Usually when empty. Of course, he stopped this very quickly when he realized that the sippy was NOT refilled when it is thrown at people, but that it is much better to ask Mommy with a hug and kiss and a “pleeeeezzzzzeeeeee!”.
  10. Leapfrog alphabet letters. Apparently the “E” has offended his very nature.
  11. Pajamas. These are never to be worn by the toddler, as he never sleeps. The very mention of sleep will start a tirade, the end of which shall never be seen.
  12. Clifford!
  13. Darth Vader (on a magazine)

I get sippy cups thrown at me all the time. It’s a wonder I don’t have any dints! Happy TT

Aren’t you so thankful for toddlers!?! :)

My son stepped on my barefoot with his baseball cleats. I do not cuss, but I sure thought of “those words!” I had a bruise for a week! Haha!

Ooh, man. Your little one is BAD. I had it easy compared to you — and believe me, I’m thankful for it!

    Happy TT!

Wow! You are getting an aerobic workout dodging those. At least he’s throwing soft, lightweight things; be thankful toys aren’t cast metal any more! You hang in there, and drop by if you get a chance. Happy TTing,
    Dk

I remember the sippy cup throwing. That is not a fun parenting event. I’m sooooo glad those days are history….at least ’til my kids have kids. Maybe I’ll secretly encourage the throwing! Heehee!
