Thirteen Lil’ Duck-ism’s of the week….

February 7th, 2007

My toddler is always coming up with cute sayings that just amuse us to no end! Here are 13 of the latest:

  1. “Red means stop, so stop car now, mama.”
  2. “Hey, light green, go, go, go fast NOW!!” - little backseat driver!
  3. “I whine like dog, how ‘nnoying!!”
  4. “I no want to sleep in car bed. I want to sleep in Mama’s bed. Mama sleep in car bed, ok?? Dada sleep in car bed, nice bed, I no sleep in car bed, I sleep in Mama’s bed, ok now??” - in response to “Isn’t it a nice car bed, don’t you want to sleep in it?” ;) He’s asleep in his own bed right now, just for the record…
  5. “Hey, I working now, check my mail, get my stuff, working hard, leave me ‘lone now!” - while sitting at the computer, typing and clicking the mouse busily…. can’t imagine where he got that one ;).
  6. “This place mess. I vacuum”…… oops….
  7. “Arrrrrgh! Pirate, like Uniqua!!”
  8. “I want to go to Grandma’s house NOW!!!” - usually after being told not to do something or having been punished….
  9. “Go bye-bye. No stay home, go OUT!! Drive car, go get nuggets, fries & drink. Sweet tea drink!” - which is NOT all that he eats….
  10. “Hey, you guys! I’m so glad to see you! Good morning!” - to his toys after awaking from a night of mommy-kicking restful sleep.
  11. “Momma need coffees!” - hee hee hee.
  12. “No go bye-bye, give me hugs, kisses, lub you, stay home and play baby, ok??” - to Daddy every morning….
  13. “AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!! BOOOOOO!!! GOOD MORNING, GET UP NOWWWW!!” - at 5am every morning, right in my face.

So Handsome Son wasn’t the only one to say “Good Morning” to his toys…every day…at the top of his lung…at 5 a.m.?!? (oh…well maybe then) Wonderful list! Made my evening…

I remember it all well. In fact, every night I have to go throw the 15 year old out of my bed — he falls asleep in there watching Comedy Central with his father. Talk about a kicker. He did his share of letting me have it when he was litte.

    Very cute list.

Oh, I love to hear babies begin to talk. It is SO sweet! I miss having little ones for that reason, plus they always smell so good.

That is just too cute. My 3 year old niece got a hoody for Christmas with fur around the edges. She puts on the hoody with a thick coat, “It ‘nowing.”

    We were in Miami :-)
