Well, for the theme this week, I considered the obvious, but then I saw this photo and wanted to use it instead. You see, the ocean is very salty, so much so that every inch of your body is coated with a salty sheen after you leave the beach for the day. You can lick your lips and taste the salt, mmmmm. As you can see, the little guy loved the salty water!

We were landlocked in Oklahoma and even in Mississippi didn’t get down to the ocean much, but here in Virginia Beach it is just ten minutes away. Love that salty air.

Very nice. I wish I lived closer to a saltwater beach. Not that it would do me much good in this weather, though.

Too cute! I live in Arkansas so I’ve not been to the ocean much in my lifetime. But, the last time I went I had a sinus infection afterward from all of the salt I ingested. *LOL*
I didn’t care much for it. I’ll stick to clean chlorinated water in the pool. heh heh
