The Car love continues, with no regard to Mommy….
I now have proof that he loves those cars more than me….. yesterday I tripped over one of the larger ones, sending it flying across the room and giving me some nice bruises on my toes. While I howl in pain, I hear Lil’ Duck yelling and running over….. I’m thinking, awww, so sweet, he cares about his mommy…. until I hear “Oh no, McQueen, bad mommy, poor thing, you ok??” accompanied by patting and kissing the toy car. Hmph.
This morning in the shower, he dropped a large, filled with bubble bath (= heavy!!) car onto the top of my foot, causing a nice swelling and beautiful colors on my foot. Of course, again he could have cared less about Mommy, but began screaming because I put the car outside of the shower (not being THAT much of a glutton for punishment, of course).
I wonder if the cars will feed him and stay up all night with him…..

Sorry to hear this. But now I know my kids are not the only ones to value their toys more than me.
LOL!!! That reminds me of my nephew. My sister-in-law started exaggerating her pain and he would run over after making sure the car was fine to hug her and say I love you mommy.
LOL- that resonates with me. I often play second fiddle to cars, trucks and assorted vehicles.
