I’ve previously written about how much I love Alli’s Originals sterling silver jewelry, but it’s been a while and Shannon’s theme for the week inspired me again. It’s been about a year since I first got my necklace and I still love it. Now, it would normally last anyone else for many years, it’s easy to take care of and never would break, but I have the Lil’ Duck, so I’ve replaced it once & got the cutest little gems to trade around on it also and now the second one is missing, somewhere in my house, in the depths of the ducky stash that is a 3 year old’s treasures… so I’m going back to Alli again for a replacement, as I miss being without it (even though as soon as it arrives, the other one will appear…). She also is always adding new products to her line, personalized necklaces are only one part of what she does (for example, pet id tags, key chains, bracelets & more). Plus she is just so sweet .

Even before the little one was born, I’ve wanted a bracelet or necklace with his name and my husband’s name on it, something to wear all the time and treasure, you know? I’d looked at a lot of different places, but everything was either just huge and gaudy, not well-made, or way too expensive. Finally, now that my little guy is 2 1/2, I found the perfect necklace.

Alli from Alli’s Originals handcrafted a delicate piece just for me from her Darling Disc design in her Princess Charming Collection – one disc has my husband’s name, another has the little one’s name, and the middle one has a heart on it. The 16″ chain can be worn at different lengths & is very delicate, just what I wanted. It’s quite small, not gaudy at all – here is a photo of the necklace with my cell phone for reference. Read more
