Still my sweet baby!!

September 16th, 2006

sweet smile

You still have the kissable chubby cheeks of an adorable baby, the cutest little nose, a big smile, and eyes full of mischief! Even though you are a busy toddler, you always have time for a kiss, hug and cuddling. Your vocabulary is full of “tank you”s and “do welcome” and “peeeeeeeaaassee, mama”s, even when you are mad! I’m so glad that your cute little dimples have remained with you thus far, as they only add to the infectious nature of your smile.

You are so much fun right now, willing to try to say just about anything and always looking for a new game to play. Any mundane chore can be turned into a game with you, whether it be tossing the laundry into the dryer, putting the laundry away (more like a giant stuffing/balancing act on the shelves), or getting dressed for the day (keep-away, anyone??). You can get your own food, throw your trash away, and help clean up your messes, but you still need lots of mommy cuddles and attention. You’re hovering between a sweet little baby and a cute little boy, of which I love both.

Don’t grow up too fast, little guy!

I think cuteness is a natural survival technique. If an adult did half the stuff our children did we’d flip out at some point and kill ‘em for sure. But since they are soooooooo cute, we tolerate an a lot. :) Ah, kids, gotta love ‘em.

The regular Saturday mid morning OT Post

Yes, yes. It is a Saturday. And Saturdays are for link-orgies. This time, too, I will host a Weekend Open Trackback on SelAm. If you got a good post out, are a member of the OT Alliance, and want some link loving, trackback this (and other) open posts…

Yep - cute as cute can be! When they stare at you with those puppy dog eyes - you can’t help but melt! No matter what they just did, ate, spilled, broke, lost, burned, shattered, swallowed, or even destroyed. Still, gotta love the cuties! Great post!

Ohhh…I remember when mine were so little and cute like that. They look so innocent and sweet. What a beautiful face. (Plus I love b&w photos.)

My youngest, who is now 5, is up too!

What a sweet post. I love it and it makes me miss when my “soon to be teenagers” were that young.
    Sigh…it does go fast.

Thank you so much for sharing your love to your boy with us. I don’t like to say it, but they do grow up too fast.
    Blessings on your Sunday.

That is truly an adorable picture. My sons are fifteen and ten and they grew up WAY too quickly for my liking. I told my ten year old I was going to tie rocks onto his head so he’d stop growing. For some reason he just didn’t go for it…
