Snowman Biscuits

How to make Snowman Biscuits:

3 pkgs 16.3 oz each refrigerated extra large biscuits
2 egg yolks
16 currants
Orange, green and red food coloring
Paintbrushes
Decorating sugar crystals or Kosher salt

Heat oven to 375 degrees.* Line baking sheets with parchment paper. FOR EACH SNOWMAN—Place 1 biscuit on baking sheet for snowman bottom. Using 2 1/2 inch round cutter, cut another biscuit to make 2 1/2 inch circle, reserving scraps. Place right up to biscuit on baking sheet, pressing to attach.

FOR HEAD—Using 1 inch round cutter, cut third biscuit into 1 inch circle, reserving scraps. Place right up to 2 1/2 inch biscuit on baking sheet, pressing to attach. Beat yolks with 2 tsp water. Brush snowman.

FROM SCRAPS—Cut arms and hat as desired, attach to body with yolk mixture. FOR SCARF—Roll scraps into 7 inch long rope, cut into 5 inch and 2 inch long pieces. Wrap around snowman neck.

FOR BUTTONS—Roll tiny amount of dough into 3 balls, place on snowman. Brush decorations with egg mixture. Paint food coloring over decorations. Sprinkle snowman with sugar or salt. Bake 10 min. or until golden. Cool. Use currants for eyes.

Makes 8 snowmen.
