How to make Rice Krispies Caramel Bars:
1 bag (14 oz.) caramels
2 Tbs water
2 Tbs margarine or butter
4 cups Rice Krispies
In heavy 3-quart saucepan, over low heat, melt together caramels and water, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in margarine. Add cereal, mixing until cereal is coated.
Press hot mixture evenly and firmly into 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan, which you have already coated with cooking spray. Let stand until cool and firm. Store in airtight container.
