When I’m not into mischief, I can be quite sweet. I love to bounce around, especially to music and I love taking photos and having photos taken (as you can see from this photo, of course). Mama says I’m growing up too fast though, today I got my hair cut (post-photo-taking) and I sat in the chair all by myself with a robe on and let them use the clippers on me. This is a far cry from my first haircuts, when I would scream at the store from the parking lot & refuse to do anything but hang tightly onto Mommy’s neck and glare at the people with scissors.

I’m full of funny sayings and love to imitate everything, especially when Mommy & Daddy are working, I love to repeat everything they just told each other, so that all of their business conversations go something like this:

Mama: “Daddy Creature, please send over a price quote for this client in Australia.”

Lil’ Duck: “DADDY!! Price quote, client, Australia, can we call client? I want to talk client, I be very quiet and then I call Grandpa!”

Daddy Creature (to Mama): “Sure.”

Lil’ Duck: “Sure, Mama, did you hear, sure, sure, sure!!”

So, life with the Daddy Creature working at home is already anything but boring :). I had to teach Daddy how to properly package all of the boxes for shipping & I love to try to pry him away from work constantly to “read a book, please” and if that doesn’t work, I come over with my best puppy dog face, “Daddy, I need some Daddy cuddles, pleeease, I need Daddy cuddles now, ok? I love you, Daddy…” Who could resist?!
