I discovered a gingerbread advent calendar, which I play with endlessly. I delight in opening the doors, but I don’t get the whole “countdown to Christmas” thing, I just like opening and closing flaps…..

Julia and I are having a great time counting down to Christmas. We’re using stockings, one for each day until Christmas. We’re taking one down each day until the big day. It’s a lot of fun.
I’d like to find an advent calendar for myself, more “adult”.

For sure, Advent is here and so are the calenders i admire. Have to get one for my nephew as well, he loves these.the gingerbread calender sounds great.
