Mess, oh glorious mess!

11

Apparently Lil’ Duck likes things messy. I vacuumed and tidied up yesterday afternoon – he sat and watched me do it all, then as soon as I finished vacuuming the living room, he walked over to the cookies that I’d just picked up off the floor and crumbled them into bits, then tossed them up in the air and laughed. Adding insult to this was his trampling of it into the once-clean carpet while cackling and yelling, “vacuum, mama, vacuum”.

Now this morning I find a whole bag of graham cracker sticks, a slice of pumpkin loaf, and all the toys back on the floor. I should have taken a photo, it would have lasted much longer. Of course that brings me to the inevitable question of why I even bother…..

ROFL! I Love that kid! I can just picture it…of course when they’re older and their chore is vacuuming and you throw stuff all over the floor, they don’t find it nearly as funny. Stacie

Thats 2 bad! He probably gets a kick out of watching u do all the work since he’s too young. I agree with Stacie’s comment as well! :o )

Ah….gotta love kids! This will be one of your favorite stories when he is older and less inclined to dump cookies on the floor. Of course, he’ll probably be messy until he’s 30….just in different ways!

Oh my can I relate. My favorite thing is when she’ll throw all her food off her highchair tray, then decide she’s done, gets down and then eats it off the floor. Or better yet, waits a few days until that hidden solitary dried up pea is nice and crunchy and thinks it makes a good snack. (I do clean, she’s just good at hiding things – the poor dog’s bed had a few slices of banana and some grapes in it the other day that looked a little old – is that where that smell was coming from? Thing is, I’m learning her hiding spots so she better watch out!)

Thanks for visiting my blog – I love yours and your products here!!

Oh that’s hysterical and painful all at the same time. I either would’ve completely lost it or just sat on the floor and cried.
