Brownies:
1 (21.5 oz) pkg. Fudge Brownie Mix
1/2 C. water
1/2 C. oil
1 egg
1/2 C. chopped malted milk balls
Frosting:
1 (6-oz) pkg (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 TBLS margarine or butter
2 TBLS milk or whipping cream
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/3 C. coarsely crushed malted milk balls
Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom only of 13x9x2″ pan. In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients; beat 50 strokes by hand.
Spread in greased pan. Bake at 350º for 33 to 35 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely.
In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and margarine, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Add milk and vanilla; blend well. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup malted milk balls. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes or until set. Cut into 36 bars.
