Love is CARS!!!

November 16th, 2006

Cars loveLil’ Duck’s new favorite movie is Cars. He loves everything about it and yells “WOW, cars, mama, look, cars, daddy, look, CARS!!” constantly. We rented the DVD from Blockbuster and he carts it with him around the house - he even asked to bring it with him while we were out and about today. Every day, he wants to watch it constantly - he loves Lightning McQueen (the red car) of course, but also the tow truck Mater, and boos at the green car.

On Sunday, he asked to take it to Grandpa’s house to watch it on the BIG screen television - so we did, and he was awed by the sight of his cars on a big TV and the sound with a full surround system and subwoofer (something our neighbors wouldn’t appreciate here, surely). Today when he was again at Grandpa’s house, he asked for Cars (which was here at home), remembering what fun it was before! It amazes me how much joy one little thing can bring into his life, he surely does love his Cars!

Thats great, I have a 2 1/2 yr old lad who is Car crazy, he was even before CARS came out… and yes Itning Queen is his favourite too :)

Our kids love that movie, too. But, our son wanders off during the “boring” middle part. You know, the part with all the plot. Then he comes back for the race at the end.

My son lives this movie too. He’s plum car crazy. He has learned several of the lines, and it’s funny to hear him talk like Mater. Of course, being from Ky., we’re not too far off that accent anyway.

Though the little man is loving Cars, ya gotta wonder how long until Mama gets a wee bit sick of it.

My kiddos love this movie as well! And I have to say that I enjoyed it as well! Thankfully there were 3 race cars… one for each boy to personify for us!

It has been all the rage at our house also. We saw it in the theater the first night it was out and couldn’t wait for it to come out on DVD. We aren’t lucky enough to have a surround sound system at our hour or the big screen for that matter, but we watched it at my parents this past Sunday and they do have the sound and it was awesome with it. Mater rules!

The Cars love was just dying down here and now my boys will be receiving it as a gift next week- yay! I don’t mind, I thought it was adorable, too. I would love to live in Radiator Springs!

Nate got the Cars movie last weekend and he loves it too. All I hear is “Mama I wanna watch the cars” over and over lol.

We just bought that DVD. I think I’m more excited than Girlie Girl to watch it!

This was the first movie we took Julia to see. We went to the drive-in so she could be as loud and squirmy as she wanted and she loved it. It’s a great movie.
