Lil’ Duck’s first meme!

July 25th, 2006

Butterfly Mama’s little guy tagged Lil’ Duck for his very first meme, how cute! I’ve been seeing this around the blogs of late but haven’t actually taken the time to actually let him at the computer to do this, bad Mama Duck.

3 Things That Scare Me

  • I am Lil’ Duck, the fearless baby…….. unless you take me away from my mama….
  • Or a really loud clap of thunder comes and I come running to mama yelling about the “wrain”….
  • Or lots of fire trucks come by with their sirens blaring…..

3 People That Make Me Laugh

  • My Daddy coming home at night!
  • My mama chasing me around the house.
  • My friend C. coming to play with me!

3 Things I Love

  • My duck-duck!
  • The Backyardigans
  • Clifford, my big red dog - I have a stuffed dog and I like to watch him on TV and read his books!

3 Things I Hate

3 Things I Don’t Understand

  • Why I can’t watch the Backyardigans and Clifford all day long…
  • Why I can’t jump up and down on top of the kitchen cabinets
  • Why Mama always wants me to take a nap!

3 Things On My Floor

  • A bagful of veggie crackers that I emptied out and then scattered all over the room.
  • All of the VHS tapes that were on the shelf - I don’t know why my mama always puts them back.
  • All my Weebles and their treehouse and their swing and airplane and…..

3 Things I’m Doing Right Now

  • Jumping on the bed, laughing my little head off
  • Dancing around to the music
  • Racing from one end of the house to the other.

3 Things I Want to Do Someday

  • Have my own cell phone where I can call Daddy and Grandpa and Grandma and Uncle A. and my duck and Clifford anytime I want without mommy yelling at me!
  • Sit in the driver’s seat of the car and play with the buttons all day long!
  • Live in a giant pit of colored balls….

3 Things I Can Do

  • Sort all my shapes into my shape-sorter ball.
  • Identify almost all of my letters on my phonics set and say a lot of them too!
  • Climb up on anything and get into everything…

3 Ways to Describe My Personality

  • Mischievous
  • Fun-loving
  • Full of boundless energy!

3 Things I Cannot Do

  • Give my mommy a moment’s peace
  • Sleep thru the night
  • Keep the house clean for more than 10 minutes!

3 Things I Think You Should Listen To

  • Veggie Tales - Barbara Manatee - I listen to it over and over!
  • My rendition of the ducky song - it mostly goes “ducky, ducky, quacky quack” but I’m just a baby…..
  • ME!!! Always!

3 Things I Think You Should Never Listen To

  • Any music you like.
  • Any phone conversation that you are trying to have unless I’m on the other end.
  • Anyone but ME!!

3 Absolute Favorite Foods

  • Cake!
  • Soy milk
  • French fries (mommy promises that I do eat healthy tho, hee hee)

3 Things I’d Like to Learn

  • How to work the DVR so I can watch my shows without bugging Mommy with the remotes.
  • Why I’m supposed to sit on the toilet and not stick my hands in there.
  • To climb the bookcases to reach the fun things up there….

3 Beverages I Drink Regularly

  • Soy milk
  • Mommy milk
  • Smoothies

3 Shows I Watch

  • Clifford
  • Backyardigans
  • The Geico Gecko - what, that isn’t a show?? I love his commercials, he always gets a wow and a kiss!

3 Babies I Tag

Now, why doesn’t Mama let me on here more often?!!

You are such a cutie pie, Li’l Duck, Duck! I enjoyed your answers until I got to the one about climbing the bookcase. Our younger daughter (our little monkey) did that when she was about your age, when we still lived in a trailer. Luckily, we were in a trailer. When the heavy bookcase pulled over on her the room was so small it fell against another piece of furniture before it crushed her.

Tell Mommy to figure out a way to atttach the bookcases and anything else like that to the wall, before you decide to go Mountain Climbling, OK??
