Jalapeno Pepper Poppers

Jalapeno Pepper Poppers Recipe:

1 pound fresh jalapenos, halved lengthwise and seeded
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
6 bacon strips, cooked & crumbled
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

In a mixing bowl, combine the three cheeses, bacon and spices; mix well. Spoon about 2 tablespoonfuls into each pepper. Roll in bread crumbs.  Place in a greased baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 300F for 20 minutes for spicy flavor, 30 minutes for medium flavor & 40 minutes for mild. Serve with sour cream or ranch dressing.
