Hmmm. I’m trying to teach him new words, especially verbs (for my own sanity). Well, the little one was sitting on the bed with us and started kicking around and jumping like the little wiggle-worm that he is, and I said, “Are you kicking? Kick Daddy!” (yes, I’m terrible). Now he looks at me, says something that resembles “kicking”, then gets a very puzzled look on his face. He says, “Mama, no wa-wa, no kicking.” Oh dear. I did indeed tell him (several days ago) that we only kick in the pool water, and of course he would remember that one.

Too cute! They always remember the things you dont want them to right then-
Yeah -those kids always remember what you tell them when YOU try to do something – but quickly forget when it is THEM wanting to do something.
