Hiding, mommy, hiding!!
August 28th, 2006Where, oh where, has Lil’ Duck Duck gone?? Could he be….. in the cabinet?? Ah yes, in his own little kitchen cabinet, with Daddy’s maglite that he has taken as his own, with the door shut behind him!
Could he be….. behind the couch?? Ah, yes, complete with ducky and as you peek over, he will pop up and yell!
How about…. in the closet?? I sure hope so, as somebody is holding the door shut and laughing….
Could he be….. behind the door?? The newest hiding spot…. peek around the door and you will find…. one little guy, playing with the doorstop, giggling with delight!
This advanced version of peek-a-boo is so much fun, what a sweet little guy he can be…. want to come over and play??!

That sounds like so much fun! My sister, Isis, and I do that a lot to our human pet where we run off and find strange places to hide. If she finds us, we bolt as fast as we can away from her so I have plenty of practice! I’d love to play hide-n-seek with Lil Duck and you!
Katarina is so in love with playing Hide and Seek……she will do it all day long!!

Hide & Seek is one of Girlie Girl’s favorite game. She’s not too good at hiding, though, and will hide in the same spot over and over again!

His favourite game and has been for a while is “Im coming to get you” Im sure this will get even more fun as he crawls more. However, he has this tendency to just stop and roll over to his back and wait for me to actually get him instead
its so much fun playing with our little ones
Brat1 and Brat2’s love for “hide-n-seek” has intesified since we moved into a MUCH larger house! They have so many new places to hide and giggle. They have claimed the little nook under our stairwell as their new “clubhouse” That’s where they have snack everyday after school now! It’s amazing how such simple things can make them happy.
