BooMama is collecting donations for Kelli tomorrow, January 16th, because:
Kelli needs a kidney transplant. Desperately. She is currently on daily dialysis, though she can’t continue with it indefinitely. She has made her way through the bulk of the process to become an organ transplant candidate, and on the medical end of things, the prospects look pretty good. She needs a donor, of course, but in terms of her being a suitable candidate, everything looks fine.
The update is here, basically saying that she will be collecting funds for Kelli via Kelli’s family Paypal account. I’d encourage everyone to go over and offer support to Kelli – even just a note on her site if you can’t contribute, but I imagine even a dollar or two would really help (imagine if 100 people gave a dollar, for example).
Finally, I’ve recently discovered HitTail through Problogger and love it – it’s a free service that tracks all the search keywords leading people to your site, then suggests keywords for you to blog about. Really useful tool and saves me a lot of time hunting through my sitemeter results (plus I can save keywords, then add them to my suggestions or my to-do list right on HitTail). Just thought you might find it useful as well!
