Easy Peppermint Brownies
It’s almost like cheating… but I’m all about taking the easy route during the busy holidays.
Take a package of instant brownie mix… any kind you wish.
Add about 1/2 tsp. of peppermint extract, mix together all ingredients from the box directions, then cook as shown on the box.
Crush some peppermint candy canes… regular or even the Hershey’s chocolate mint flavored ones for a fun twist.
Once the brownies are done, sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top of the brownies, let them cool and then cut. Enjoy or wrap them up in some cute cellophane & ribbon for easy gifts!
Now that’s easy. I will definately try them. I wanted to just add crushed candy canes to the batter but wasn’t sure how that would turn out. Thanks.
