Problogger has another group writing project out – this one is on the topic of lists, which the ducks just love – easy to read and all that. We have all our Thursday Thirteen lists already, ranging from wows of the Lil Duck to the sweetest comments I received, so I thought I’d make a list of some of my favorite posts for all the new readers around here, just to change things up a bit.
- My favorite things about Lil Duck
- The joy of the pool
- Our mutual love for Starbucks
- 5 ways to develop your toddler’s musical abilities
- The chocolate pudding mess
- More keyboard decor
- The drama of the nap
- Ooooh, baby! – a classic Lil Duck moment!
- The eternal hunt for the cell phone

The Starbucks post is sweet, and chocolate pudding – what were you thinking? Sure makes for a cute picture though.
my fave is the one about developing your toddlers musical abilities. my daughter is 13 though. do you think those suggestions would work on young parakeets?
best – michael
Those Ooooh Baby days are why the starbucks and pool days are soooo worth it

I love these! However you know, I’ve been longing for children, and some of these make me wonder why!
*kidding!*
Thanks for popping over to visit my list for the writing project. And stop using to-do lists for scrap paper!
LOL
These are fantastic! But I have to admit the Starbucks one is my favorite. It is a precious time to watch your little one “discover” things for the first time. I’m still doing this and loving evey minute of it.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know of my firefox problem. Should be almost all better now
Thanks for checking out my list post. You’ve got a great site and an adorable little ducky.
My wife and I don’t have kids yet, but having watched our niece for the past 5 years, some of these moments seem oddly familiar…
These are great stories, MamaDuck. I gotta agree with 1gir2boys about the chocolate pudding!
This blog will be better than a baby book when Lil Duck grows up and has his own children.
LOL re: the chocolate pudding, he’d eaten it without incident at his table on the kitchen tile before, I went into the other room for a few minutes and came back to that mess. Who knew?!
Hi Mama Duck,
Those are great stories you picked out! The chocolate pudding mess is priceless.
Thank you for the comment. I know what you mean about posting for the sake of posting; I’ve done the same thing with past blogs. Sites like ProBlogger are great for inspiration, though – yesterday, I wanted to blog but didn’t have a clue what to write until I saw Mr. Rowse’s contest.
