Creamy Sweet Potato Soup Recipe:
3 orange sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cups chicken stock
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon onion flakes
ground pepper to taste
Salt to taste
1 1/2 cups light cream, or milk
Put sweet potatoes and stock in crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2-2 hours or until tender.
Remove and process or blend until smooth.
Put back in crock pot and add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on high 1 hour, or low 2-3 hours until heated through.
Serve with sour cream if desired.
