Chocolate pudding and toddlers, never a good idea….

July 15th, 2006

Toddler with pudding

Here’s part of the video for your amusement. I’m still working on cleaning it up, I’ll let you know what works for getting it out of my carpet, off my doors, and out of my couch (maybe a lost cause after everything else it has been through).

Update: how I got it out of my couch and carpet….

Oh my gosh i can’t help but laugh and say “i’m so glad that wasn’t mine”. Hope you can get it cleaned out of the carpet and furniture. For the walls use the Mr. Clean magic eraser.

Believe it or not…I have BTDT. And that is exactly why I do not buy chocolate pudding anymore and why I seriously looked for a lock for my refrigerator. My boys really stressed me out at this age especially when you have two that are master minding together to get into trouble and blame each other. LOL. Now I have three master minds. It is tough trying to stay ahead of the game.

Oh my goodness! I hope you were able to get it all clean! At least he was cute while he did it! :) I will never forget when my Mom used the water hose to clean my little cousin. He had been playing in red clay all day. She was not about to get that in her house!

    later!

    Oh what a mess
when we were watrching it Daniel (8 months) said Oh Oh

When I gave my babies biscuits or even marmite on toast I made sure they were in their high chair, with a bib with arms in it and had flannels on hand afterwards LOL

  14. Comment by Christine on July 16, 2006 2:47 am

Oh my!! Let’s see, my now 3 yo. daughter decided one day to help herself to the ketchup, and thought it was red finger paint, and it was all over the house, the walls, my stove,my bed, everywhere!! I’d take the chocolate pudding, tastes better, and yes your son does look very happy!

  15. Comment by Josh on July 16, 2006 3:42 am

I think that’s why my couch is navy blue and dark green plaid. Kinda hides stuff like that betrer. I hope you can get that out! I know Stain Devils has a stain remover for chocolate. Don’t know if it’s good for upholstery. Good luck!

I agree with you. Chocolate pudding and babies is an incendiary mix! Good luck getting it out…

Be sure to check it out - I do regret not having time to submit to this edition (this post might explain that), although I did write something similar to this theme a while back - excellent reading and lots of great ladies. Be sure to join the blogroll if you haven’t already as well, we have over 200 ladies now and it’s a great source of traffic and community! [...]

Oh my…Chocolate is so hard to get out of everything. You know there is so much cleaning stuff out there and the promise the all work - all I can say to that .
I hope you will find a good product to clean your couch.

  23. Comment by Rebecca Grabill on July 16, 2006 1:32 pm

Too hysterical! It makes the cherry-juice-shirt I flipped out over seem pretty small. (The kid is five, you’d think he could use a NAPKIN. But he’s a boy, after all.)

  24. Comment by Robin on July 16, 2006 5:46 pm

At least it’s chocolate pudding, lol, I have a friend who says her toddler painted with something that just LOOKS like chocolate pudding (walls, bed, etc.)…now that’s an even bigger YUCK! Yeah, I don’t think she got the camera out on that one.

Thanks for sharing and visiting PENSIEVE. Always glad when you check in and let me know.

Well that is a site. I can remember a child of mine doing something similar. Lucky for me though - I didn’t have a white couch!

  28. Comment by Susan on July 16, 2006 8:40 pm

Oh no! Yes, I am glad that mine are past that…but only sort of!! They are so fun at that age and they really are just learning their world daily. I have pics of mine with flour all over my kitchen floor decorating…and yes, one of them decorated my dog with female supplies once…he peeled the sticky off them of them and stuck them on….I don’t have a photo (wish I did). Now, that was interesting!!!

    Enjoy him!!

    ;-)

Oh my goodness! I hope you got everything cleaned up OK!

  30. Comment by Tom on July 17, 2006 1:24 pm

And we wanted kids why? You have good patience, I would have killed them, but you turned it into a video that could win you $10,000 on AFV. :)

  31. Comment by Amy on July 17, 2006 1:35 pm

I couldn’t help but laugh and was secretly thinking “I’m glad I don’t have children yet” WOW! You definitely have a lot of patience with him because I would have been very upset. That pantry needed some cleaning up too I see. He was a busy little boy…he definitely is cute though!!!!

    The Spare Carnival

We would like to thank Miriam for making it possible for us to have a spare carnival this week. Really. And If you’re going to have a spare, you want a good quality full size one. None of those wimpy space saving spares for the Carnival crowd….

  35. Comment by Adam on August 3, 2006 2:09 pm

My son once covered himself and the living room carpet around him in ~3/4 of a large container of petroleum jelly. It took over a week just to get it out of his hair.
