Butterfly Relay Race
June 23rd, 2008In advance, cut 4 large butterflies from poster board and decorate them in bright colors (you can color plain cardboard as well). Each butterfly should be approximately 12-15 inches in diameter. Divide your party guests into two teams and give the first person in each line two butterflies. These butterflies become the only thing they can step on as they travel to the end of the room, and back to the next team member. Place one butterfly on the ground, step on it with both feet, place the next one down, and hop onto it. While standing on the second butterfly, pick up the first one and place it in front again. When the first guest is finished, he or she passes the butterflies to the second player. Repeat until everyone finishes. This relay game will keep everyone laughing!
