Burlap and Lace Baby Shower Invitations

For this sweet surprise blessing, we custom designed these burlap and lace baby shower invitations in cream & brown shades! Starting with our Sweet Ultrasound Photo Shower Invitation design, we first customized the gender neutral design’s layout to suit the larger amount of text and smaller ultrasound photo size. Another step of converting the photo to a vintage sepia tone allowed the modern image to suit the vintage theme. Using lots of cute digi-scrap elements to accent the photo and add to the style, we found cute fabric-like rosettes, jute twine graphics, frayed poms and folded patterned “ribbon” in a brown & cream print that we layered under the photo (all printed flat onto your choice of photo paper or card stock). We also used a burlap style pattern to frame the photo and edge the inside of the weathered creamy border for an additional nod to the theme. The original mix of script and print fonts suited both the theme and the clients’ taste, so we did not change those, although we could do so if you wished, and could also add some pink or blue if you preferred.
