Hmm…did you look under the couch? LOL Thats where my girls shove EVERYTHING! Or in an empty shoe? You wouldnt believe the places I find missing things! And I’ll give you two guesses who usually put them there! *hint* they’re three, they’re blonde, they’re twins…LOL

Hmm, this could be potentially a great Thursday Thirteen! Items found in my black hole would be milk jug rings, ponytail hair-ties, spare change, left or right socks, and any small, decorative Christmas ornament, i.e., sparkly and shiny beaded apple ornaments which I batted into the black hole with glee after the human pet spent $50.00 on three packages of them. Muwahahaha!

I rule the black hole!!! Take after me Lil Duck and know true power!

I find my missing things in the refrigerator (unless it is something that actually belongs in there!) a lot. You’d think that it was one of my little monkeys stashing things there, but sadly, I think I do it in my going-in-every-direction, multi-tasking, very-distracted, frazzled-brain state of mind!

Except for the socks that the dryer eats. My husband does not understand how I can have so many orphaned pairs. I can not understand how a complete pair goes into the washer but only half of the pair comes out of the dryer! There are no socks in my fridge… unless my home’s black hole is back in there some where. I guess I’d have to clean it out to find out, though!

It’s funny, we lose all the same things. I have three snot suckers and can’t find one. Can never find a thermometer although I probably have 4 of these. I’m in the middle of packing for a big move. I bought six rolls of packing tape. As I was checking out I was asking myself how long I was going to keep track of at least one of them!

talking about black holes, I think i have a troll in my house. Things go missing everytime i’m in urgent need of it, and it conveniently turns up when i don’t need it anymore!
Grrr… any one knows a troll buster that i can call?

Our kids do a good job of not messing with our stuff too often…knock on wood. There stuff, however, does end up in a lot of strange places in the house. I think I’m probably the biggest problem though. When I see little things on the ground, I pick them up to put away and they of course end up in the basket that I throw my wallet and everything else. I could probably host my own marble tournament by now.

The question, “Where do these items go?”, probably should be “Where does Lil’ Duck put these items?”

We have a 19 month old and a 5 year old…Wherever our black hole is, it has an enormous amount of stuff in it.
