Because a pink Nintendo DS is all I need to be the coolest mom ever…
Oh yes. After my brand-new Christmas laptop (a MacBook Pro with my fancy wireless mouse
), which plays the Cars movie with a beautiful picture, regardless of where we might travel, Lil’ Duck has decided that I am very cool indeed. BUT, if I had this pink Nintendo DS which the Crazy Hip Blog Mamas are giving away, the handheld button-pushing goodness would just send me right over the edge into “coolest mom ever” land.
Just imagine – a little screen, the perfect size for little toddler hands…. several buttons to push… a flip-screen like the much-adored cell phone…. now to get it away from him and allow me to play with it…. 
. Plus, the nice people at Nintendo would have my everlasting love (I wanted to buy a Wii for DH for Christmas, now it’s just a matter of saving for a few months… it’s mostly for me though, growing up with the original Nintendo system, playing Super Mario and Zelda and Tetris….. they just don’t make games like that anymore!) – I’d talk about the games on it, do a full review all about it…. everyone would come away wanting to buy one of their own. Imagine my coolness reflecting upon you, oh Nintendo publicity department. Just look at what comes up first in a Google search for “little leaps product reviews“…..
Plus, then the cell phone can be all for Lil’ Duck, who already fights me to play the few games that I do have on there…. when he isn’t chattering away to his many relatives, for whom he knows each speed-dial button….
Ohhh yeah lots of compitition lol. I’d be happy for either of us though!

My wife is hooked on Tetris. She plays it a lot on her handheld Gameboy.
