Beating the cold…
Lil’ Duck, being accustomed to warm weather, thought that this 40 degree weather while visiting relatives up north was just freezing. However, he refused to wear this coat until finally, while spending some quality time in a barn with horses, he just couldn’t take the cold anymore. He turned to me in defeat and pleaded “Mama, please put coat on, get from car, I so cold, I frozen, mama please!!”
It looks so cute on him, I couldn’t resist trying to get a few photos of him all bundled up, as it is never cold enough for this here, of course. Now we need to take him to the snow….
I can just imagine Lil Duck in the snow. He would have such a blast!
We’d go swimming if it got to 40. This morning it was -11. -33 with the wind chill. I walked to my car at 2:30pm after work and was thinking how nice it felt. It was 8.
Around here our coats ask if they can wear coats…and the kids stay inside
