Apple Cinnamon French Toast

Apple Cinnamon French Toast Recipe:

1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 TBSP. maple syrup
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled & sliced
8 oz. french bread, in half inch slices
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

In small saucepan, melt butter; stir in cinnamon, brown sugar and syrup. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Arrange apple slices over top. Slice bread into 1/2 inch pieces and arrange over apple slices. In small bowl beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over break. Sprinkle cinnamon over all and cover with foil, then refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350. Cook French toast 40 min.
