You’d think he would want to sleep in - he had a busy day yesterday and stayed up late playing with Daddy. Of course not, bright and early, I hear banging on his bedroom door and yells of “out, Mama, out, Dada, sippy!” - ugh. Of course, just letting him out and giving him a sippy doesn’t appease him - then he wants to play, yelling “mama, maaaaaaamaaaaaaa” and pulling my hair until I look at him. Then he decides it is time for a shower, and chatters endlessly “dada, water, mist, cold??” - until finally his daddy gets up and takes him into the shower.

Ah, a few lovely minutes of peace.
