Who is Lil’ Duck Duck? He is a busy, inquisitive toddler, soon to turn 2, who is a delight and a trial. Why Lil’ Duck Duck?? Because that was my little guy’s first word, and he LOVES ducks - hence “Lil’ Duck Duck”. You didn’t really think I’d put his real name on here, did you? Rest assured, my child has a name, I don’t go around yelling “Lil’ Duck Duck” all day, I get enough crazy looks as it is.

Who am I? His mommy, of course! Pre-baby, I had a musical career and a job. Now….. I manage the ducks. Not just Lil’ Duck Duck, but all of his ducky friends. Rubber ducks, stuffed ducks, you name it. There is one particular stuffed duck that holds the highest place of honor in Lil’ Duck’s life, but he also loves all his other ducks too.

Why a blog? Why not! The little one gets into amusing things every day, perhaps it will make you smile (as I am spending countless hours cleaning up the mess).

My future plans for this blog - obviously adding more content, resources and articles for other moms of toddlers that will hopefully make your lives a bit better and save you from my fate - learning things the hard way (like no matter WHAT you use, red koolaid will never come out of your carpet if you are renting ;)).
