A week-long birthday celebration for Lil Duck!!

*Sticky post all week long!*

Lil Duck (the toddler, not the blog) is turning two this week, so we’re having a party!! All week long, he is accepting well-wishes and virtual gifts in the comments section of this post or via e-mail. At the end of the week, we’ll have a post highlighting some of these comments and gifts – they will all be going in his scrapbook for future enjoyment as well!

In real life, we are truly celebrating all week long – we started yesterday with a birthday lunch at Rainforest Cafe, then we had a great adventure that will be chronicled later this week. He will also be going to the beach, having a party or two at home, and will be opening the rest of his gifts. Every day we’ll have new posts about his birthday adventures, so be sure to check back often for his newest celebration!

At this virtual party, we have birthday cake, ice cream and soy milk for the cats & other creatures that are visiting – to read Lil’ Duck’s birthday card, click the “more” link or the title of this post ;) . For all the adults, we also have a Starbucks barista to make us any sort of drink we desire (I’m loving that they have the pumpkin lattes back again, they are my weakness!). Thanks for stopping by & hope you enjoy the party!

Lil Duck Duck's birthday card

Isn’t he cute?? It’s a smaller version of the card that we sent out to all his friends and family, with a name change of course ;) . This card is also available for customization for your own little duckling (as well as other designs) in our birthday card products.

*pushing my way to the cake* Ahem…. Happy Birthday Lil’ Duck!!! Can I have an end piece?? Meg sends her best wishes and says to tell you, what was that?, no I will not tell him that the potty chair makes a great climbing tool! She says to make sure to wish real good on the candles. And, that cats (even the stuffed ones due to Mama Duck’s allergies) are great toys for your Duck Ducks. :)

Happy birthday L’il Duck! It sure sounds like your parents love you a ton, really, their having a week long party just to celebrate you!

Hmm a week long birthday huh? If I start now I can do a week … my birthdays on the 6th. yeah, that’s what I’ll do.

Great party mama Duck … maybe I’ll just stay here a while and start my own celbration while I celebrate with you guys? Oh and a Barista … how extravigant.

Actually I’m visiting Wendy’s party too … I guess I’ll just bounce back and forth. I have to stop at home first and make a cheese cake and pick some fresh strawberries and raspberries … and set up a chocolate Fondue. I promised I’d bring that to Wendy’s since her cookies and brownies are starting to run out. Can I bring you anything when I head back this way? Oh I know I’ll bring a gift for Lil Duck … I saw this fantastic stuffed Ducky toy, I’ll get that for him.

Happy Birthday, Little Duck! The 2nd of September is my kittens’ birthday – they’re one year old today. It sounds like you’ll be having fun, what with a whole week to celebrate your birthday in. That must mean you’re special; most people only get a day! I hope you really enjoy yourself, and don’t make life too difficult for Mama Duck.
