7am, the usual, stumble out of bed, grab a sippy of cold soy milk for the baby, stumble back into bed like all good mommies do. He is playing happily, then I hear “uh-oh” accompanied by a cold splash of milk. Yes, he took the top of his sippy, then poured it all over me, the bed, and the carpet. So much for sleeping in.
I have spilled 2 entire sippy cups of milk in the bottom of my huge black purse. It smells purty. The scary part is – I don’t even have kids.
Oh, I’ve had mornings like that. What a rude awakening!

Thankfully we got it before it soaked into the (down) comforter, that would have been fun. Just all the sheets and everything got a good washing, couldn’t hurt anyway, right?
DH & I and our families are all allergic to milk, we haven’t even given him straight milk but he can’t even handle regular yogurt, so I think it’s pretty safe to say he’s allergic. Poor little thing never had a chance!
I am so sorry. Ewww. Is the comforter machine washable or do you have to shlep it to the dry-cleaners?
My kids do soy milk too. Is Lil Duck allergic to milk?
