A rude awakening…
June 1st, 20067am, the usual, stumble out of bed, grab a sippy of cold soy milk for the baby, stumble back into bed like all good mommies do. He is playing happily, then I hear “uh-oh” accompanied by a cold splash of milk. Yes, he took the top of his sippy, then poured it all over me, the bed, and the carpet. So much for sleeping in.

Awwww… that is so cute though!
I am so sorry. Ewww. Is the comforter machine washable or do you have to shlep it to the dry-cleaners?
My kids do soy milk too. Is Lil Duck allergic to milk?
Thankfully we got it before it soaked into the (down) comforter, that would have been fun. Just all the sheets and everything got a good washing, couldn’t hurt anyway, right?
DH & I and our families are all allergic to milk, we haven’t even given him straight milk but he can’t even handle regular yogurt, so I think it’s pretty safe to say he’s allergic. Poor little thing never had a chance!

I have spilled 2 entire sippy cups of milk in the bottom of my huge black purse. It smells purty. The scary part is - I don’t even have kids.
