A day of rest….

11

Lil’ Duck woke up with a runny nose and a lot of sniffles, he also thinks that 72 degrees in the house is too cold and is shivering, so we bundled him up, fed him oatmeal and turned the heat on (yes, the heat, when it is 72, growing up in the north it is for me, unfathomable….) and we’re going to cuddle him and love him and do everything so he gets better today. With his daddy home for a long weekend, we don’t want him to miss out and be stuck at home when he’s still running around, asking to go places and play.

So, nothing exciting from here today, just lots of cuddles and warm blankets!!

  1. Ooops, I do hope he gets better soon! It does sound like he has the very best support he can get from his parents :-)

The cuddle and love will do wonders!

I hope Lil’ Duck feels better soon. It’s so hard to see the little ones not feel well. My two have been passing stuff back and forth for weeks now.

Slight sniffles and a desire to sleep ‘em off in one’s young are God’s way of giving parents a lil rest.

As long as they are slight, sleeping ‘em off works, and lil ones are back on their feet wreaking havoc in short order. Wouldn’t want parents to get too much rest, now…
