These are great lists of toys. The fischer price toys are very sturdy. My grandson has several fischer price toys and withstands all the beatings being received from my grandson. Fischer price toys are really expensive.
My T13 is up too.
Ah, my son had that Leap Pad Drum. It was so cute, but that little voice “A says a, and….” got into my head too much. It’s there now! Thank you so much!
Yes, I thought quiet toys were the best for parents.
But I’m all for musical kids. Cuz I was one.
Nice list. I don’t mind the toys that make noise. My TT is up, too. I’d love it if you stopped by.
TT 13 Mailboxes
Someday mailboxes may go the way of buggy whips, although most of you have no idea what a buggy whip looks like. So before they disappear, let’s look at 13 mailboxes.
As a child I loved the sound of marbles as they rubbed each other in my marble bag.
I linked to you from my TT 13 Mailboxes
It’s amazing how many of these toys I own….err…my daughter owns!
The FP piano has always been a hit at our house. I don’t know how loud it is, but the SS Boom Box sounds like something the baby would love!
Very nice list
Happy TT
Neat list. How about one of these, too? Can learn to make real music pretty easily with a recorder–at very young ages. Buy several so you can play along and learn together, if you’ve not played a recorder before. And the skillset translates very well to other instruments as time goes on.
Yeh, yeh, for Lil Duck’s age, it may be very, very slightly advanced, but things that are real musical instruments can be fun, too. The site linked also has real (Kodaly-type) percussion and other instruments suitable for young children. Or, do like my mom did: bring out the pots n pans and spoons and such. Save oatmeal boxes and other things you and lil Duck can make musical instruments of together, etc.
All kindsa fun!
I brought a drum that you put around your neck and play with both hands on either side of it for Billy once Daniel loves it
LeapFrog makes the best toys…
Happy TT!
Thats a great list of toys. I dont think i own any of those. We have this musical drum, that has 5 pads on it, and the kids can bang on it..they love it, it drives me crazy b/c its so loud. DH wants a real set, and i said no. Happy TT. my list is up too.
Awesome! the monkey loves anything Dora. So, my best musical toy is a Dora CD and a Dora sticker book!
Love your website– beautiful announcements. My sis-in-law’s baby shower is next weekend– wish I had known about you!
Howdy!
Just visiting from BC Carnival. Have a great week.
