He’s such a playful little soul, and loves to play games, especially at 2am when the rest of us just want to sleep…. so here are thirteen of his favorite games!
- His modified hide-and-seek game, where he seeks
. - Peek-a-boo – a forever favorite, though it has now been expanded to covering the duck’s eyes and him covering our eyes.
- The tickle monster – now with retaliation from the “button ‘ickle” master!
- The clothes chase – any mention of clothes or diapers elicits a mad flight around the house, with him cackling all the while.
- 1-2-3-jump!! Off of anything, especially the edge of the pool and the coffee table – jumping from the coffee table to the couch is a fun thing too, apparently.
- Speaking of the couch, it’s time to play “toss all the pillows off the couch and cackle hysterically”!!
- Hop, bounce, leap – the couch and the bed both make great bouncing places, tho the floor works as well.
- Spin me around until I get super dizzy, then I’ll try to walk while laughing hysterically. Good for laughs all the way around!
- The alphabet game – we have to point to each letter as it is sung by the alphabet toy, over and over and over. He’ll also single out one letter to repeat over and over again….
- Lining random items up and counting them – then knocking them down and starting over!
- The kiss psyche – making kissy faces and noises, running towards you, then at the last second running backwards, laughing with glee.
- Turning the TV on and off and on and off and on……
- “Talking” to the dog – barking, whining, feeding her imaginary tea, playing peek-a-boo, etc.

Awwww…Lil Duck Duck sounds like such FUN!!!
What cute games! Great list, HAPPY TT!!
Great TT. Thanks for sharing. Children are the most precious gift God has given us.
I’m up.
Turning the TV on and off is a lousy game, don’t you think? Now it’s a chore for the boo bear. He makes sure it’s off before we leave the house each time.
My TT is up!
He must have gotten the “Throw Everything off the Couch” game from me! That’s my favorite. That, and…swat valuables off the shelf.
Good times…
Great TT!
Awww! Lil Duck is so cute
His games are bringing back memories of when my 2 nephews were his age and loved nothing more than playing the “Pick up” game.
#13 is adorable! I so enjoy your blog Mama Duck
Ours are steal the ferrets’ water bottle and hide the remotes!
Ah, the clothes chase. My four year old and I play that daily. He’d go to preschool in his Spiderman underwear if I’d let him.
As always, a wonderful list…takes me back to when my kids were little! Have a great Thursday!
